In Orléans East-Cumberland, we have longer walks to the bus stop, additional transfers and longer commutes than ever before. With the implementation of the New Ways To Bus Network in April 2025, Ward 1 lost local bus lines while Capital and West end Wards were able to maintain or improve their service.

It’s time for real action on transit to restore the bus lines that work for students, commuters and local businesses. Without reliable transit we are not only limiting access to our communities, but to our local economy as well. Orléans East-Cumberland deserves a convenient, affordable and reliable bus network that connects our rural and suburban residents to the rest of the city.
